The Met Line Journal

The life and times of a small man called Min, his daily journey's from Rayners Lane to Farringdon.

This blog is an insight into the wonderful world of the Met Line, packed into chunky bites of random thoughts, the weird and the wonderful sites I see on my journey to and from work, and the odd comedy gag...

Read it and weep (with laughter)...

Tuesday 15th June 2012 - The Journey Home

18:04 All stations to Uxbridge

Well hello there. Sorry for the no show yesterday, but the train was packed and I bumped into my sister so we chatted instead.

45 days to go...

The headline today is what the opening ceremony for the games is gonna look like. It's going to cost £27m so the fireworks better not be "ha va gay la"...
The ceremony will be inspired by the British countryside. Expect a burnt-out Ford Mondeo and at least one abandoned fridge...

There's a story about how apparently blind people think we discriminate against them for reading in braille. Well I'm sorry they feel that way...

Just reading about Ushers concert at the Hammersmith Apollo. Got 4 stars out of 5, and looks like everyone had a lovely time. Makes me wanna go...O oo o o oo.

There is a lady opposite reading a booklet on "Phytospecific". This is apparently a posh word or hair and skin care..there you've finally learnt something from this blog...

Hey, just seen that its Fathers Day on Thursday. Who hoo. There is a special 4 page special on what to get you dad. I've pulled this section away and will leave it for Raj and Preeti to study, with some items circled. (including a Nikon D3200 so so I can take better pics of random people on the tube).

Right, going sleep now as I'm going to Denmark (again) tomorrow.

Have a great sleep!

A small man called Kawks
