The Met Line Journal

The life and times of a small man called Min, his daily journey's from Rayners Lane to Farringdon.

This blog is an insight into the wonderful world of the Met Line, packed into chunky bites of random thoughts, the weird and the wonderful sites I see on my journey to and from work, and the odd comedy gag...

Read it and weep (with laughter)...

Monday 16th July 2012 - The Journey Home

18:08 all stations to Uxbridge

Hello gang. How are we all. I trust you have wonderful weekends and a beautiful Monday...

We went to the East End last night (you said that last bit in a cockney accent right?) to see some work colleagues in a glee style show. It was lovely darling...

So 11 days to go...it's getting exciting now...I love our monthly group meeting me...

Not seeing any random Olympic tourists yet, but will keep you up to date if I do...

Fact of the day: It takes the human body approximately eight hours to turn food into poo poo. McDonalds manage to do it in only five minutes...

Headline today is "London booms to 8 million people". That's 12% in the last decade. That must be right cos we didn't move here till 2006...

There is a story about Maddona performing at Hyde Park tomorrow, but has been told that the plug will be pulled if she is still going on at 10:30 to ensure the strict curfew isn't broken. Yes Maddona, rules are rules (you did an Indian accent right?), so beware...

There is a story about the new Olympic lane from the airport. Oh it's very confusing said motorists...nice (you said that in a Kawks accent didn't you?)...

Rain. Official weather supplier to the London 2012 Olympic Games...

Hope it brightens up soon.

And on that err bright note, let's leave it there...

Have a great sleep!

A small man called Kawks
